Even Doc is looking for this storm!

I am psyched. I was thinking that I have spent more time on the bunny slope this year than I can remember. The conditions have been super crappy elsewhere. (I have a theory that they maintain the best conditions on the bunny slope to lure more people into skiing. ? ??)

I am so f'ing tired of wearing snow pants and ice cleats to go anywhere in my world that isn't on pavement. It has been so cold, and so crappy weather-wise that all I have in my yard is an inch of ice/snow/ice. I tried walking out to the compost heap the other day without them and realized that was a Big Mistake.

Even if I can't make it to GP tomorrow, next week should be amazing! And, there's always x-c and another attempt at snowshoeing in my back yard. I am not quite sure why people like snowshoeing, but I thought I should try again. :p

Snow totals approaching 3 feet or more are most likely over the ridges and peaks of the Appalachians, Adirondacks, the Green and White mountains and an area from southwestern New York to just north of Lake Ontario.

Ithaca is being breached soon.

Bring it on! I moved my car so my Snow Plow Fairy can sneak in and do my driveway.

I always plan on double the amount of snow that the forecast says. I live in this weird little area that gets its own weather. I can be at Cornell, 20 minutes away, check the radar, and see bands of LE hitting my road. Two miles away, the road can be bare.

And, as it's a back country road, if there is no school, it gets plowed late.
