A long time ago I was at home sick laying on the couch when I noticed thousands of birds around my house. At first I couldn’t identify them so I got up and looked out my front window.
I have a bunch of wild rose bushes around the edge of the woods. They were Cedar Waxings … Thousands! In half an hour they were gone and so were all the rose hips off of every bush.
Folks were watching the Live feed of the nest and noticed odd behavior.
After a long crane “house call” by Cornell’s World Class Veterinarians and maggotectomies they’re good to go.

I’ve been watching this mother and daughter come out every evening. They have been Hoovering up apples ever since the June drop started. With the electric mower I can mow right passed and they couldn’t care less.
