Such a good dude.Dude, it’s totally up to you
What if it Turns into a top 10 once you ski Bristol and HV?
3. Chair 4 at GP
Had a season to greek during college at Bing and yea chair 4 does serve some gnarley terrain(when its open). Also chair 5 to east side is awesome when its open, loved to park there and start. But i think Chair 2 gets all my love. I mean look at those towers, how are they still standing. It used to serve the park so I was always lapping it. When you ride the chair at night you go through a huge black spot and its a cool bit of isolation.Chair 4 at GP is by far my fav chair on the entire hill. For one it never seems to be crowded as most seem to like the chair 1 and 5 areas the best. IMO chair 4 has the best skiing GP has to offer with Zues, Herc, Trojan, Trojan Woods, and the Electra all right there. It's also very easy to zip over to 5 from there for a lap or two. I know there's mucho talk about extending 4 all the way to the bottom but I hope it never happens. Long live Chair 4.
Good on you for choosing lifts for less skilled skiers. Gore is way worse for novices when the AE2 doesn't run, but I'd still take the North quad over the AE2 on your list. Tahawus and Sleeping Bear are among the last old school narrow twisting quiet trails around for intermediate skiers.Let's assume the conditions are excellent for my choices -
1. Whiteface Summit Quad - even strong green skiers can enjoy it.
2. Gore's AE2 - arguably serves some of the best blue skiing in the East
3. Belleayre's new Lightening Quad serving the best green pod in the East
Honorable mention:
Hunter West's Zephyr Express - 3743' length/1295'vertical/avg grade 37%/4 minute ride
Plattekill Double
In the bummer category
Bobcat t-bar
Hickory Poma
...and you get to hit that little air into the approach lol! I think #2 is still my favorite though for the towers and sentimental reasons, admired a lot of our fresh tracks from that chair over the years!Chair 4 at GP is by far my fav chair on the entire hill.
