Nice pics. Are those sap lines in the trees? They have a sugar shack there, is that right?
Some of the lightest syrup I ever made was from the first week in January. I have to check out this operation some day. Maple syrup and skiing, what’s better than that? Coverage looks good up there, enjoy!the maple operation is called Moon Valley Maple. I was once told in 3rd week of Jan that they had made an appreciable amount of syrup prior to that date! Warm winters allow for an extended syrup season I guess.
Bought Moon Valley ,(Titus) Maple syrup....it is delicious!!!

On January 18, 2024, at approximately 2:55 p.m., State Police members responded to Titus Mountain Ski Resort, located on Johnson Road, in the town of Malone, to assist EMS. An investigation determined Richard P. Finch, age 68 of Malone, NY, an employee at Titus Mountain Ski Resort, was on ski patrol when an unintentional accident occurred on the chairlifts. Finch was pronounced deceased on scene. There was 4 inches at our house, I think they groomed after the snow started falling.....Captain, are you skiing tomorrow?
