This is where I'm at.
On the couch watching all of the Masters coverage as I'm recovering from my back surgery I had on Monday 👍🏼
Oh camper I hope you're not in pain sure hope you can turn the corner soon. It's a rough recovery but you 're a tough man and have a good partner who cares for you and that's a blessing.

I had a bit of a setback this last 2 weeks in my chemotherapy. I continue to feel fine but the rate of reduction in the most critical benchmark over the this period has slowed down compared to prior months progress such that I'm going to have it have at least an additional three cycles which means I'm going to have to go through the end of the summer to get it to where it needs to get.

I'll be starting my sixth cycle in 10 days. This goes all the way back to August 1 ,of 24. so it's going to be at least a full year in other words August of 25 before I can hopefully get to some acceptable level of remission and that's not a given.

But hey everyday is a banquet 😅, attitude is everything I'm looking forward to swinging the new golf clubs clubs soon and getting the hell out of the house.

The only downside to this is every treatment raises hell with your immunity so I have to isolate somewhat, wear masks wherever the hell I go except outside. But I guess compared to many who really suffer, this is a small price.

Be well buddy 🙏 I'm thinking bout you and wish you All the Best

Thanks Coach.

Compared to before my surgery my pain is nil, and very manageable. Two weeks before my surgery I was in such pain that I can't even describe it. A couple of times I thought I was going to pass out and I definitely cried a few times. The sciatica nerve is nothing to mess around with. I could barely walk and when I did the pain, at times, was excruciating. That said, I was up walking around, pain free, 4 hours after my surgery. I would go for a walk around the unit I was on at least once an hour with a smile on my face. I was completely pain free. The nurses told me I needed to go to bed.....LoL
