The "Why isn't there a Cat Thread"? Thread

Outdoor cats don't last as long? I didn't know. Makes sense I guess.
Far more risks for an outdoor cat. We lost an adult cat and a few kittens before we got THE CAT, named Zen. Zen was smart, he turned himself into a largely indoor cat after age 15 or so. He had a litter box in the house. But would ask to be let out once or twice a day, and be ready to come back in 15-20 min later. We said good-bye when he was about 18 a few years ago.

Automobiles, other animals, fighting other cats.... Since I've been married, all our cats are indoor kitties. There's a fox frequenting our back yard, and we live on a city lot.
 
Post pics of your cats. Extra points if they are cats in snow or ice. Or even better, on skis or skates!
