Sounds like ya might need to put up another trip report, just sayin. We certainly didn't live on fish, mostly freeze dried. It was just SO MUCH EXERCISE.
I caught a few fish, but that was by far the biggest. Most were 12" or so. When I hooked him/her it was almost dark and at first I thought I had a log. I landed it without a net and it was as big as my arm from elbow to finger tip. Later I measured my arm and got 17 inches. I think it might have been 3 pounds of actual meat.
It was dark and we were still a mile from camp. I wanted to throw it back. We were hungry that whole trip, and my GF was like "if you throw that back I'll never speak to you again and no sex the rest of this trip!" Funny... so we would still do it after the trip without any talking? Hmmmm.... <Sorry if TMI
I was carrying a lot and she had just a butt bag. So I said if you carry it back to camp I will cook it up. I whacked him in the head with a rock and them found a forked stick for her to carry it. I admit it was good and worth the effort.
Bow chick a wow wowSounds like ya might need to put up another trip report, just sayin.
Crazy showing up to kindergarten with some kids wetting their pants and crying for mommy and this kid just crushed a 2,200 mile thru hike. Here's a story about a kid who got a good start on the joys of a simple life from his parents in 2021. The family of three did a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. The boy started Kindergarten soon after getting home to Virginia.
