The Sand Trap: for Players, Hackers and Duffers

The Queen of The Hop just ordered me some new irons 5 I - PW .at soon to be 82 and with a chemo port I'm thinking my swing speed is going to compromised more than it was at mid 70mph.

So on advice from my fitter I spected out Ladies Graphite shafts at an inch over std height to fit my wrist to floor measurement. Pro told me they are circa 5-7 grams lighter than senior shafts which are on my Driver and 2,3,4 and 5 hybrids

Got the first round in since December at Dundee Golf Club in Dundee Mi. It was a little wet, but all things considered the course played pretty good.

Got my new irons can't wait to get on the range . They are really nice, great fit and lighter . So now need to find out approximate distance for each club b4 season opens . Itching to get out there

Getting the gumption to get the skis outta the car and the clubs in.

Sometimes ya get thrown a couple bones.

I’ve yet to see a wedding invitation as nice.

Had a great trip to the Tuesday practice round bluebird day at The Masters tournament.
Biggest roars were the shots they tried to skip over the 16th pond.
Caddies were into it to boot.
Fun times.

The Masters leaderboard on Saturday morning is a nice one.

Rory would look good in a green jacket & complete a grand slam.
Bryson D. would need a much larger size and could play well off the patrons.
Rose could win wire to wire.
Jason Day ain’t made a bogey yet.
Scheffler could get his 3rd Masters win in 4 years.

Woulda liked to Langer & Freddie make the cut.

Looks like the wind died down. The greens should continue to firm up.
Ya could hear the Subair system working on Tuesday after all the rain that came down on Monday.

It’s moving day.

Masters is just so awesome to watch!
The fireworks today are so explosive, Rory is a freak.
Tirolski you lucky dog, you still down there?

#10,11 & #18 would be nice cruiser green ski trails if they had snow.

Should be interesting again tomorrow.
Tirolski you lucky dog,
My BIL won the lottery for Tuesday's practice round tickets. I’m lucky he’s nice to me.
you still down there?
Nope.
Got back Thursday. Visited relatives in western Pa over last weekend then drove to Columbia SC Sunday. Was gonna play 18 on Monday but it was rainy. Augusta National let patrons in on Monday for a bit but they closed the course before noon. The folks we stayed with were gonna be there today. Played a rusty 18 on a course near Statesville NC on Wednesday with a friend from here who had moved there a few years ago. Twas a great memorable trip.
