The Plattekill Bump Thread

Jan 8 is my birthday, doesn't alway fall on a day Plattekill is open.

We've had some great days, but you are right that is definitely a dicey time. And it's doubtful there would be bumps yet.

I've always thought he should blow Plunge second, after Face. But the news above is very cool, not ready to push my luck. Maybe raise the issue over a beer.
I can confirm, in Jan 2020 only 3-4 ways down and still had a great time.

A thought... I know Plattekill has limited terrain but a low angle bump run could be great for the next generation of aspiring bump skiers. I remember cutting my teeth on easier stuff and enjoying every minute of it. Now watching someone try to learn to ski bumps on something like lower k at hunter reminds me of my great aunt tossing my brother into the deep end of the pool. He survived but it wasn't pretty...
