Why did ya name it “double chair"?

The idea of having on some of the interesting worker bee folks at ski areas is good.

It is named after the Double Chair at Plattekill. We considered “The Fixed Grip Podcast” and “The Upstate Skier” also.

Enjoyed the discussion. Agree that someone in the northeast who is considering Ikon or Epic may be better off with some version of an Epic pass.

Note that in addition to 2 days at each resort, the Mountain Collective can also be used for additional days at 50% off. Someone who expects to get to two MC resorts for 2-4 days each does pretty well.

I started getting the MC around 2014. After the third bonus day at early bird pricing was introduced, the daily cost has been $50-80 each season depending on the number of resorts I used it at. At this point, Grand Targhee and Sugar Bowl are only on MC. The other MC resorts are also on Ikon.
