Why did they take hickory off if it's operating all year round now?

The last time Hickory stopped operations was in 2015. I have vague memories of noticing that Hickory was blocked out when driving up to Lake Placid from NC at some point after that, perhaps by 2017 or 2018.

As in 2022 or later? My memory of the sign is vague. Was driving more on the Northway 2013-19 when my daughter was in school in LP or Boston.

In general, sign changes on the Interstate can take a long time. When a favorite restaurant in a very rural section of I-95 in southern VA closed down, it was years before it was no longer listed under Food for that exit. The place was pretty big and family owned/operated.

I'm not saying you are wrong, maybe it was down a few years ago. But I'm 99% sure it was up this year.

It means I am traveling on business, which I don't like, but sometimes I go to places that are nice. The Inn is on the eastern shore of Chesapeake Bay. It was built in 1812, and it's pretty special.

Nice! There’s a chance ya skied on some of those H2O molecules at Platty. Greek's water goes there too.
