Sugarbush Conditions

We already canceled our reservations and rescheduled for next weekend. My wife and I don't want to be caught up in a shit show at the mountain or anywhere in town.

With that said I'm really curious as to how they'd secure the lifts and runs? Would Secret Service be skiing with them with guns in hand? Snipers on lift towers and behind rocks?

Hopefully someone will be brave enough to be there and report back...but it won't be me😁
Might be me sadly. Room already booked for Friday Saturday...can't change it. Was going on the way to meet @TheGreatAbyss at Jay on Sunday...ugh.

Can't even go skiing and forget about what's going on at my job (Fed employee). This administration is literally doing everything it can to make my life miserable.

Very Sorry to hear that.

When we booked a couple weeks back my wife said "why are we wasting money paying extra for a cancelable reservation?" I look like a genius now 🤣

Well I hope you can make the best of it. Get some pictures and stories about the circus. I'm really curious to understand how security will work.

Good luck!

you could always head over to MRG?

If you do go to Killington you could try Pico. It is a fun area and usually less crowded than Killington.
my just buddy skied pico this past weekend....it's now his his fav vt mountain.. It's mine too...great vibes no corporate crap really fun terrain.

Ended up rolling the dice and doing Sugarbush North/Glen Ellen anyways. Glad I did. Awesome day. Bottom third was crusty and melty, everything above was awesome and powdery. Not crowded. No impacts from the VP visit

Glad to hear your trip was great with no disruptions from the VP logistics.

Hoping for a good day next Saturday when my wife and I visit. I'm a little worried by the midweek warmup and rain.
