Shut up with your sunny, warm bass fishing!

And for that matter….stop comparing your big ass FL bass and your big ass Wyoming (or whatever) trout to my meager NE catches, for crying out loud!

Seriously, a 12 to 15 inch Catskills brown is as solid a catch as whatever easier monsters you are catching in your dream fishing lands. There, I said it!!

Joking (but….not really ) aside…..as a catch and release guy I don’t wait for no stinking “season”. I’ll be fishing Nanticoke Creek outside of Binghamton with my son and his friend Saturday. By noon tomorrow they will have stocked more than 3,000 browns in the Nanticoke this week. Saturday will start cold (low 30s) but end up showery and close to 50. Wish me luck!

snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
