Oh yeah but to be honest most areas in the west will burn at some point. I’m in California right now (as already mentioned, edit) and this whole dang state or at least most of it is ready to make like Cheech and Chong.

When are you moving back to Rockland? From what I read, most of the west is just screwed. The upper midwest will become America's new breadbasket and the northeast is one of the better places to be. It is happening. And, IMHO, unfortunately, it is going to continue. I don't think there is much that can be done. I think money should start being spent on how to live with it not just to try and prevent it.
