Ski Waxing

Artech (logo on the brush) was a ski race supply shop that closed last year ( roughly) after 34 years in business. That is a box of somebody who raced.
Some history of Archtech:
Correct. Everything had tags with a name and "Ford Sayre" on it.

I'll take a picture tomorrow. There's this small salt looking wax bottle and some metal angles, also some kind of little stand thingys. This guy definitely knew what he was doing. I still have a few skis that came with all this. They were smooth, clean, and sharp. Just way better than how I do it.
Salt-looking wax is probably a super hard wax that melts more easily as a powder than when it's in a block.

Or, possibly a fluoro overlay that's super pricey.

I have an Artech brush and never raced.

I think it was $300 for 13 pairs of skis, a Thule roof rack, some boots, poles, and that whole kit with twice as much wax. All the skis where recently tuned. Mostly Racetigers and a nice pair of Supersport All Stars. Some of them were old like for decorations or ski chair type things.
I actually sold a pair with boots in the driveway of the house.
You should be arrested for larceny for the tools alone. Looking forward to seeing what the unidentified items are. Probably base or side bevel guides.

This is the stuff that looks like salt. How in the hell is that enough wax for even one ski?

I've recently learned this is an iron holder.

DB Coop for the win?

Why?

The black thing is a Skiman sidewall planer. I don't use gloves myself, but most of the tuning advice sites recommend using them. Yellow Toko plastic thing is a wax scraper sharpener.

CH3 is super hard wax for very cold conditions. I use it as an additive to other waxes as it holds up really well on abrasive snow. The powder form makes it way easier to iron than the drips you get with CH4.

This is quite a haul. Can't fathom why they sold this for so little.
