Ski Jumping

THAT IS INSANE.

He loses points for crashing I assume?

I think I’ve probably discussed this here before, but NH is the only state that still has public high school varsity ski jumping. There are only 6 or 7 remaining programs competing these days.

Most of the schools train at private/club facilities…..like Proctor Academy or the Ford Sayre ski club. Plymouth Regional High School is the only one where the ski jump is on school property.

Competitions are generally on 12-30 meter jumps depending on conditions. (So very small compared to the above videos)

Couldn’t load video so pics are of my daughter jumping at Proctor. She was two-time state female runner up at the state meet.

Chapeau to the state of NH for keeping this going. Can't be easy. Does she jump in the summer also?
