Unless I missed it during the 5 days I was there a few years back, I found it uber-annoying @ JH that there was no "base lodge". Couple little cafes and shops to get stuff, but no place with a bunch of table to just sit down and boot up. Only place we found was a little nook outside a coffee shop that had some benches and pay lockers. Was fine for us and we adjusted, but the first day I was def scratching my head looking around.Traditionally, the way to avoid paying to store your bag is to boot up at the car, but with more resorts encouraging carpooling or public transit, this isn't an option for a growing number of skiers. I can't think of a more effective way to discourage carpooling or public transit than providing only paid options for bag storage.
I had the same reaction during the first trip to JH.Unless I missed it during the 5 days I was there a few years back, I found it uber-annoying @ JH that there was no "base lodge". Second one looks like Mount Peter. The windows give it away. Not sure about the first. Good for them. Mountain Creek did not have any free bag storage back when I skied there.I guess you’re in my head Sno cause I am now taking pics of bag storage shelves.
