Gloves or mittens with a zipper pocket to hold hand warmer etc, I put my pass in the zip pocket and it works great to extend hand forward and have the gate open ahead of time, Gordini has gloves with a decen zip pocket

I think I should start driving with mittens on.

I bought a pair of leather mittens and free the powder gloves at the same time. The gloves were nice, but ironically were way more bulky than the mittens. I gifted the gloves to my son, and have been using the mittens for several years now. I wear a pair of liner gloves with them when it's really cold. The only thing I don't like about them is the velcro closing strap, other than that, they're great, not bulky at all.
I throw them in a clothes dryer then lather them up with Nickwax, then toss them in for another spin.

I bought a boot (warm air blower) dryer at Costco that also has extra ports for putting gloves/mittens on em. Works well with a little crank timer on it. Do ya do the wax thing with the clothes dryer often?

No, probably a couple times a year. They're Gortex lined, but that doesn't really mean much from my experience. Keeps the leather nice and supple. I wish they had a buckle strap, or something besides velcro around the wrist. Looks like they changed it.

I don't know that it is a good idea to put your gloves back in the dryer after you apply the wax.
