'Ski for Free' COVID-19 Booster and Ages 5-11 Vaccine Incentive Sweepstakes

Speaking of the booster
I got mine last week. I've never been hit by Mike Tyson, but I would imagine it would feel similar to what my left shoulder felt like for a day and a half....lol
Shingles vax hurt my shoulder the most of any. Didn't get ill from either shot 1 or 2 but that arm ached and I favored it for a week.

ugh getting shingles vax thursday. i got the aches about 12 hours after the booster. i tell people to get it in morning this way if you have a similar reaction later in the day you can just go to bed. i was at work all day. did not feel great.

Why’d they pull out?
Here you go . . . from 2008 and 2011. Here's my guess. Rob Katz spent a lot of energy and political pull on getting the changes to the Forest Service's ability to approve summer revenue-generating activities like ziplines. The change was signed in 2011. Obviously once the Forest Service figured out new rules, made it much easier for all resorts in the west to become true 4-season resorts.

Second shingles shot was the worst reaction I've ever had. Whole upper arm really hurt. It was hard to find a comfortable position to sleep. Lasted a few days. But having had shingles in my 20s, it was worth it.

Had the Moderna booster this morning. Nothing much different yet. Arm is a little sore. I had more of a reaction to Moderna #2 but was all over in 36 hours. Mostly slept it off.

Thanks Marz.

The money that we won’t be spending on membership dues at Colorado Ski Country we will be putting into marketing efforts at our resorts.” said Vail’s spokesperson.

Vail Resorts knows money & marketing, not that there’s anything wrong with that.

got boosted last week, I felt nothing and had minimal reaction. I asked the nurse twice of she was sure she did it... must've hit a sweet spot

Same here. Didn't feel a thing with any of the three shots. On the second I could feel where the shot was for a day but I wouldn't call it sore.

Could tell after dinner that I was a little off. Felt 100% when I woke up in the morning. So 24 hours instead of 36 hours for the Moderna booster for me.

Good thing I'm back to normal. Start driving to Colorado tomorrow morning.

Remember the stronger the reaction to the shot the more antibodies it produced and thus the more robust your immunity

From what I've heard from people with far more medical and immunology expertise, that's not really true. Besides, antibodies are only a part of how a human body deals with a viral infection.
