Up through the early 2010s, Famous Internet Skiers was required reading -- especially for people like me who don't have the skillz or endurance for those outings. A shame that it ran out of gas but thankfully it's still online.

It seemed it was originally done tongue-in-cheek, kind of a joke. Then it took off and they went with it for a while. Greg was really the guy behind it and once he got out of grad school and started teaching, it seemed he just didn't have the time for it any more.
