yea I had a re-mount done last season and only brought one boot in, they made me go back and get the other one as well

I took my skis in for a tune and binding check one year and they put "Left" and "Right" stickers on them. I asked several people knowledgeable about bindings if it mattered what side I put them on and they said, "No".Was it REI or another shop?

That could be. It's just that I've never been asked for both boots. I'm wondering if this is something specific to REI or something new in the ski world.I wonder if they switch em to check release in both boots in both skiis.

I even asked once if there was a difference between right and left and was told no. I was told you can switch R/L to help wear more evenly. If my edges were getting a little dull I would switch sides and the skis held better on the hard pack.
