SAD, but make it hot

Over 70 dew point is horrifying. We are 77F with a dew point of 71 right now in NNJ. Yuk.
I misspoke , today will be in the low to mid 70'DP , it is tomorrow that HELL is elevated to sea level here along the River

I did NOT put the window AC units in this year , the Queen of the Hop is not a fan of AC and with my bum hip it s very hard for me to bring them up two flights from the celler to the 2nd floor bedrooms .

Fortunately our home has ceiling fans in BR 's and our sun room AND we have 39 windows ( Dutch Colonial ) so it vents easily and we get some decent breezes off the St Lawrence

Love to see people using dew point
I hate that the media uses relative humidity
Absolute useless number

Odd. I feel the heat and humidity but I also feel like I’ve acclimated to it better than normal this year. It’s not really bothering me

Snow bikes are even more lame then snow blades. By a lot

These are pretty cool, saw my first at Bolton Valley. Didn't know they had a name, Jack Jumpers. "They let you take that on the lift?!", Yep, just gotta have a leash. It's a Vermont, maybe New England, thing, I guess.

not lame by a lot

I tried making my own Jack jumper by sticking a bicycle seat in a ski boot. I’m not sure if it was my ad hoc design or lack of Jack jumper skill but it didn’t go well.

Another weird one I saw at Jay one Spring was a skateboard with a snowblade mounted several inches below the deck. No bindings...YIKES. The pilot had on a white jumpsuit and a Devo flower pot headgear.
