Rank The Lifts at Your Favorite Ski Areas

the dbl at Alta with no safety bar. Serves awesome terrain but the ride scares the shit out of me.

Sounds like I have a few more places to hit. Good to know.
TJ if you come out of lift-served retirement to ski any of those chairs, I'd like to be there.

It will probably be the same time you are there. I'm only skiing lift serviced if it's deep...

My favorite five;

Lift 7, Belleayre

Red Chair, Magic

Mammoth Chair, Silverton

Lone Peak Tram, Big Sky

Aiguille du Midi Tram, Chamonix
This one reads like a ‘Which one doesn’t belong’ kinda thing. That, and it makes me want to put my Ski3 to use at Belleayre!

I can’t order these, but….

KT at Squ…er, Palisades at Tahoe.

Castlerock at Sugarbush.

Pallavicini at A Basin.

Edelweiss at Alpental.

Summit Quad at Whiteface with Slides open.

Double at Platty with woods/sidecountry in play.

I would love to ride the Tanglewood double again, now reborn at Kissing Bridge.
Great memories of the now lost ski area Tanglewood.
The Plattekill double chair has provided powder and awesome Spring skiing days.
The Darkside chair and Straight-brook quad , no place that I would rather be.
Honorable mention
The original Phoebe quad at Montage mt ,gave my kids and I some good times. Including last Wed afternoon , with temps near 70 degrees , my sons and I lapped the chair and splashed each other , till the sun went down.

In no order. My favorite lifts.

Sublette quad, JXN. This is often combined with Thunder.

Tram, JXN.

Tram, Snowbird.

Puruvian, Snowbird.

Single, MRG.

Double, Plattekill.

All the main chairs at Taos.

North Face poma, Created Butte.
The terrain off of Sublette is so very very good!

Aiguille du Midi is a great one. I used to ski in Chamonix every year when I was a teenager (I was living in Brussels back then) and Aiguille was my favorite. It's been so long since I've been on it that I didn't feel I could still list it. Sure nice to see it here though.
