Wp lately when I ride through the stables and corals (totally allowed horses get right of way) the horses are running. Is that a spring thing? I don't think I'm bothering them they are running before I arrive.

I have questions about horses maybe we should have a thread.

Could be lots of things. They smell a bear or coyote? The property owners switched to alfalfa from a lower calorie hay? They ran out of hay somehow and are just graining them currently? New horse with a rambunctious personality showed up and got the rest of them riled up? Or a new horse is disrupting the pecking order and getting them all riled up? They’re happy? Or something else.
