Plattekill Conditions

I’ve got to say I’m a little alarmed the news hasn’t gone out on social media but that’s what I heard. Maybe give them a call to confirm

As per the website they are weekends only for the remainder of the season. No more Friday’s.

That was one of my problems the year I had a pass. Not that I skied a lot of Fridays, but taking away that Friday, just when spring conditions were ramping up, on a pass (which wasn’t exactly cheap, considering) that was only good three days a week to begin with….it erodes value.
 
It’s too bad Plattekill is closed more than they’re open during the season. I would get a pass there if they weren’t.
 
That's the great thing about America. If you don't think the pass is worth it, you don't buy it.

Or you can rent the whole place for just you and your friends.

Going to have to consider not purchasing a season pass next year for Platty. Love the place and have alot of blood, sweat and tears invested in the mountain but considering how many days they are open I may just purchase a ticket on the days when the conditions warrant. Yearly pass for me is $509 if purchased by May 09 and I can get a SKI3 pass from Belleayre for $249.00 which is good for all 3 ORDA mountains. I purchased one this year to ski early and late in the season when Platty wasn't open and it was well worth it.
