Plattekill Conditions

Nearly everybody there seemed to be an expert skier/boarder. And yet everybody was falling, like all the time. I fell more times than I could count.
Deep, relatively heavy snow. We don’t get to play in that stuff all that much around here. Junior kept pre-ejecting in the bigger clumps. I told him to crank up the DIN but he was reluctant. I didn’t go down but I was skiing pretty conservatively and my legs are still complaining

I stopped for a breather before one of those giant whale drifts I looked uphill an a boarder was coming down at a good clip and would pass me safely about 10’ away , he looked totally in control. A second later he tomahawked and all I saw was the bottom of a board lol . He was buried

Were any of you the guy who went into the bathroom and put on a shirt and tie for an 11 o'clock Zoom call? Gotta love the die-hards.

That was @marcski.

We were skiing with him when he had to leave for the call. Did he leave his boots on, I hope?

Did you use the billy goats

Yes. Made a huge difference. I thought I had a pic of them stuck in the snow by the lift but I can’t find it now. I was telling Harv last night on the phone what a great hookup that was. Thanks again
