NY Lost Ski Areas

That Snoopy cut out sounds vaguely familiar. Stewart's store ran a sponsored lesson program....I think $99 included lessons, lift ticket and rental...I think it was a 6 or 8 week program. About 10 years ago we were on atvs, riding trails and we popped out at the mid lift....a lift and building were still there....all grown over...nice view.

Skied it once as a little kid, barely remember. Not very steeps, lots of t-bars. Went under because they didn't own all the land. They wanted to buy it all up and modernize, but it never happened. Too bad, it would've been a good family mountain. Also, the summit warming hut had a wooden cutout of Snoopy as flying ace on the top. That I did remember!

My brother and I took lessons there for a couple of years when I was 9 or 10. I believe it was $35 for the season.

I loved the "lodge" and its arcade games, while my dad would have an apres' beer near the big fireplace.

Holiday Mountain has an arcade. TBD if they keep it.

They'd best keep the go carts!

I skied at Alpine growing up, in the early 60's. Raced there in high school...so much fun.
