McCauley Conditions

Anyone else skiing tomorrow? I'm aiming for first chair or better, meeting @Stu at 10.

Great first day at McCauley with lots of snow, bumps galore on Skyride and my first ride up the new Magic Carpet

for those who might be wondering about the webcam that is down (since Nov 14th). I was told the town is switching over to another operator of the webcams. So until that gets done, the summit cam will show the old image. No ETA on the switchover

@greymoose or anyone who knows...

Considering a lesson next Weds for a never ever. Any recommendations for an instructor or tips?

Weather on Wednesday is shaping up nicely ❄️❄️❄️
Not a coincidence I chose Weds.

I looked, first lesson is at 10am, which would mean missing first tracks, or expecting a newbie to ski it.

Gore has a lesson at 8:30 which is great, newbie can learn something and experience skiers can bliss out.

Mccauley was in great shape yesterday. We had a late start at 1 pm but Conditions were prime with snow coming down the whole time. Little surprised they didn't have more open, only Challenger , sky Ride(with moguls) and Olympic. I assume they are saving terrain for the holiday. Either way can't go wrong with a half day pass at 30 dollars.
