It was still great when I got there after 1pm. And the forecast for the next 10 days looks pretty sweet too

Big Mac is back. Plenty of snow for the debut of the “new” lift. Parking lot filled like I’ve never seen.

Got to Big Mac early yesterday to a steady snow coming down. McCauley skied great until around lunch time when the weather turned into freezing rain/sleet. I turned into a popsicle and the mountain picked up a light glaze. Figured I'd take a break for lunch with the hope that snow would return. I ventured out after 1pm but the freezing rain/sleet kept coming down and I called it day. Of course, as soon as I packed up to head into Old Forge, the snow returned!

Snow fell overnight and the temps dropped to single digits so we'll see what today brings.

Big Mac hasn't been hit by the big LE storms that hit Woods and Snowridge but there's still a real good base. Add a few inches of fresh snow from Saturday night into Sunday, and the whole mountain skied great yesterday.
