Temp in low 20s light wind flat light. Good snow.
Ride over was easy except had to wait for a dang train at Apulia station near where The Nest establishment looks like they built an outdoor structure. Cortland county hadn’t plowed the road but ya could still see pavement.
Got my “reserved” parking spot to boot up
Snow does appear blue sometimes.
It’s suppose to snow some and the plow went by earlier but the road is bare.
Could be just about perfect when a plan comes together.
The top liftie was banging snow off the seats. I told him, "Ya can bang on yer drum all day” He said, “Ya might say that”.
2nd load I told the friendly liftie, "I made it.” She laughed and offered encouragement. 3rd load I told her, “I’m getting the hang of it”. I always offer thanks after a safe load. Looks to be pretty much the same crew of lifties at Lab.
Several laps on the above double then twas over for 3 runs on the triple. It stopped once for too long for my tastes (over a minute) so I cruised back over to the double. The groomer was pushing piles out on the northern most trail (Razerback). There were some lurker whales on lower Badger but I just swung wide right around the pine trees to avoid those. The snow eventually stopped and I cruised till the roads got better and the lactic acid had built up for the burn. (10:10 till 12:30)
Never went on a black diamond but had a good time flow cruising too much blues

.
Was ski on to the lifts but there were a lot more folks than a typical non-holiday Monday, Folks were having a good time and heard a few yips. Some of the dang boarders were ripping it up.
Sorry if it reads like a trip report but I haven’t got out much yet.
Read somewhere folks are hoping of blowing
Ptarmy.
I sure hope so.

This tune may be appropriate today due to tint now of the snow with the new eyeballs' lenses & also being 1st time out this season so it may be cruising the blues always practicing turning.Tisn’t this week but tis within a week.
Looks like next Monday it could be back to researching gravity on snow.
The Lab opens at 10.
Tail is wagging.
Should be fun.
