Killington Conditions

I’m sorry if I misunderstand what you guys are saying but it sounds like you think the groomers are shooting lasers through the snow. Is that what you think? My understanding is that the groomers just have a GPS and a celluar connection to the computers at the base.

Any body thinking Killy this weekend or next?

@Scottski63 and I have talking about it.

I thought it still looked good on the cam this am. T2B at least.

@dubstar what did you think when you saw it?

You’re right Harvey, it does look much better this morning. Last night right before dark the groomed ribbon was thin, didn’t extend to all the way to the summit, and the bumps and overall snow looked dirty. With temps in the low 60s and rain all week, I thought that was it for grooming. I obviously underestimated Killington’s grooming crew as it looks much better this morning. Oh well, lesson learned. I already got two really good late April days in, so hopefully I can add another next Friday. Have fun if you make it up.

Sunday, May 19 was epic. No bare spots although some of the World Cup glacier was appearing in the troughs between the moguls.
Packed with people of all ages. So glad I went to finish off my ski season there. Memorial Day weekend looks like it may involve a little walking.
