Hickory Ski Center Might Be Reopening

We also tried to convince Ian and Anna, two filmmakers we skied with. Man, Ian could RIP, skiing everything without poles carrying a HUGE camera. It was fun setting up shots with him. When you are riding in both directions, and riding solo, any opportunity to chat was welcome.

I normally take about 150 pics skiing. I took over 500. I haven't even gotten to the shots from Winfall. I hope they are good.
Here’s a write up about opening day.
Lookin forward to yers.

Sorry if this sounds a bit full of it, but I am kind of blown away by this.

Sue is certainly a force, but also somewhat reserved.

I'm honored to be knighted Sue. This kind of feedback is why I write.

Attaboy (y)(y)
Was wondering if the rebuilt straight 6 engine used a direct drive to power the poma or used as a generator to juice an electric motor to power the poma.
Either way, it appears a simple solution to help folks ski up the bump for their turns of fun.
Waitin for the movie...

Direct drive. I wish I could have gotten a good shot, but it was just too cramped in there.

Here’s a couple of gems that powered Princeton Ski Bowl.

Seeing the pics of the old repurposed motors being put to power local bumps gives additional meaning to the phrase “over the hill”...
