Greek Peak Conditions

Kids these days…

Ok so they started making snow wall to wall deep. And they run all the chairs.

We haven’t had season passes at Greek Peak in a couple of years, but skied with some friends a couple of weekends this year, as Greek Peak sold 3-day tickets. Not sure if we just hit some odd weekends, but they only ran Visions and Chair 3 for the first hour of the day the two weekends we were there. The other chairs eventually ran, but Visions got pretty crowded before they did. The skiing was good, but as you pointed out, definitely not wall to wall.

Seems weird that you can’t buy a ticket without creating a gp account, or feeding a vending machine cash. Or use a credit card and hope they don’t have a major data breach again.

I guess it must be true if you say so. Let me guess, they pay for their passes and food/beverage too. It’s great that they have made the upgrades, they are almost where they should have been 20yrs ago. What are the amazing upgrades coming up for this year?
Never mind I found this
I've been trying to disengage you but this one, I feel, requires a response.
The owners don't even take a paycheck out of the place, once again totally screwing over the local community. Proof? Have you not noticed all the yearly upgrades?
Awesome, so this years upgrades from the cringy blog.. We’re not just maintaining, we’re improving. This spring, the hill crew kicked off a key infrastructure upgrade: expanding snowmaking on the Zephyr and East Meadow trails. That means more reliable snow, better early-season conditions, and an even smoother ride for beginners and families.

Awesome can’t wait to ski zephyr from a chair that never runs. East meadow?? Wow sign me up

Ok. Let’s play nice, and start over. Next year I will pay full price to ski gp just to see how great it is.
Could buy an Indy pass also (GP hopefully will be on it again). There are many ski areas in the Finger Lakes on Indy Pass. I'm figuring 10 skiing days for less than $400. :D

Also, can ski Song and Lab on Friday Night Freak Out for $20/night (vs a season pass). But boy, skiing after 11PM can be tiring, especially when conditions are great.

oh he won't be happy about gp's indy redemption reservation policy as it is a little cumbersome, oh the horror!
