Gore Mountain Conditions

It was an interesting day. I was expecting some sun and warming up and softening, but that never happened. It snowed all day up top, accumulating to about 3 inches. Lower Darby, Hawkeye and Chatty were all good, Hullabaloo skied off and icy. The lower mountain was all good except for Twister. Wild Air had outstanding snow because they had the Hole Shot course to push around.
They found some snow somewhere to push up skier’s left of Sunway to the saddle. It should last through the weekend.

That's good to hear.
One of the disappointments this year was the poor condition of Sunway near the Saddle. It's the one spot that almost everyone skis several times almost every day. They really need to focus on keeping that area in good shape.

I can't speak to what's going to fall from the sky but Gore was beautiful today some thin spots but not much and a lot of skiing be done

I mean you've got to consider the source but if it was me and it is I'd be optimistic about the weekend

No real pictures today because I forgot my fleece in NJ and I have no pockets for cameras

It snowed again last night. Snowed a little bit every day for a while and it seems to be improving things.
