Going Under the Knife

Update completed 2 complete cycles of the new chemo here in Ogdensburg. Each cycle is once a week for 3 weeks with a 4th week off. Also have weekly labs to monitor all critical benchmarks.

Had my UVM Dr ck up yesterday a quick trip overnight. They work in consultation with our Local Hospital Cancer center docs .

Really good news the most critical benchmark which determines efficacy is down 64% since july.meaning that blood viscosity is greatly thinning out ergo my energy level is darn good as the heart is working much less harder and other cardiac benchmarks have significantly improved

In other words treatment is working and I have Zero side effects

4 more cycles to go then back to UVM probably late April for a 40minute office ck up

Still not curable but is treatable . I'm praying for Remission this spring and polishing my clubs up 😉

nice to have some good new for a change!!!!

The only downside is chemo does compromise immunity so I can't do crowded places and if I go anywhere inside have to mask up . Small sacrifice

My children and grandchildren were here for Christmas week everyone masked up no problem

Ido get 3 immunity shots every 4th week but still have the issue ... WHICH is Quite Common when dealing with chemo of all types

But I feel fine and outdoors no problem at all so we do some walking weather permitting
