Are they using crampons and ice axes to ascend? I couldn't tell.
 
Jamie and Duncan Kennard finished skiing the 46 ADK High Peaks on Sunday. They are the first and still only ones to ski the Catskill 35. They now have 81 reasons why they are the most badass skiers in the state of NY.

 
Man that guy is lucky to walk away. That looks worse on a snowboard then it would be on skis.

You can die falling like that.

I’ve had two really good slides down steep terrain. Half star of five, I don’t recommend!

Seeing falls like these kind of puts what the freeride world tour skier and riders are doing into perspective. The way those athletes ski and ride in high consequence terrain is seriously impressive.
