Does anybody know why the UMPs list Showcase and Santanoni to both have some length on “town land”?
Doesn't the state own the land those trails are on?

For a trail skier: Ruby Run to Twister, to Twister's Little Sister, to Echo, to Gore E Gully, to Cedars.

For a tree skier: Ruby Run to Twister, to Twister Glades to Echo, to Gore E Gully, to Cedars.

You can also go from Rabbit Run, if you are willing to hike uphill a bit. Probably not recommended in this case.

Harv also ADK chair would allow you to cut out Ruby run if they want to do as quickly as possible. But perhaps you didn't note because it means it is no longer Bear mountain? Still getting peak names down etc.

Yea I interpreted the question to mean from the top of Bear.

The Adk Express 2 goes most of the way up Bear, and you can still get to Twister. For a solid intermediate that's probably the better route.

Doubt it. No footnote.
"On town land” means something in legalese in UMPs.
Especially as part of a SEQR EAF.
Acronym Translation = State Environmental Quality Review Act Environmental Assessment Form.

Could be just another ORDA subcontractor screw up?
It’s in a table with mainly all 0s for Gore’s other trails so it stands out.
I was just checking “official” trail lengths.
But who proofreads these things?
