Been scouring the (NWS ALY my go to) long term forecast every morning for some signs of hope. Not too much, but did see this little piece of potential:

Keeping an eye on potential stormy time next weekend but lots of time to evaluate as there is a lot of spread in sources of guidance/ensembles and it is a week down the road.

Canada is very warm overall, there isn’t any real cold to tap into, there is a marginal chance behind next Saturday’s storm besides that looks warm rain brief cold and repeat.

NWS ALY this am:

.LONG TERM /WEDNESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY/...

Upper low lifts north and exits through the day Thursday and warm
advection will increase through the day Friday. Some uncertainty
about the approach of northern stream upper energy Friday and how it
interacts with a southern stream upper low tracking toward the mid
Atlantic States through the weekend. There is considerable spread in
sources of guidance/ensembles as to the track and timing of the
northern and southern stream systems, which results in big
differences in the potential impacts or lack thereof in the Friday
night through weekend time frame.

So, with the warm advection ahead of the 2 systems, more clouds
than sun Friday with slight chance to chance of rain and snow. Solid
chances of rain and snow Saturday and details of any potential
storminess in our region will get clearer later this week.
