Decided to blow off work and catch a little fresh at Elk. Started snowing around 10. Still snowing, a good 4-5" so far. Everything skiing nicely, must've groomed Tunhannock recently, bumps, but not VW bug variety.

Brilliant timing, the storm came from the southwest, a bunch fell before you got there.

Thanks for starting the thread @Cornhead

Conditions threads are really too much work to bring over. Really just brought the TRs and a few other selected items.

Old conditions can be found in the archives too.

Awesome report.
(Fyi my stupid phone is currently not working but Wi-Fi is working)

I skied Elk last Wednesday. They had just groomed out all of the bump runs due to getting freezing rain on the back end of the last storm.

Ah, yes, that makes sense. Kept lapping Chippewa at the end, ungroomed, a treat with about 6 fresh on top, hero bumps.

College students cheap on Wednesday at elk
"Wednesdays are College Days. Show us your current college student i.d. with photo and get your lift ticket for $35!"

Anyone been to Elk? Buddy of mine might be there for the weekend.
Any suggestions as to where to stay?
