Catskill 4 Area Discussion

It's been so long since I've been to Windham, do they still have a full service restaurant on the top floor of the main lodge? That was a big deal to my father and AFAIK it's the only one in the Cats, if it's a big deal to anyone else.
I haven’t been to Windham in a long time either. I don’t know about the restaurant. I remember when they renovated the lodge though. They advertised their new dedicated workspace for guests. We thought that was the funniest thing that people would go to a ski area and work.

This passed weekend the Sunset Lodge at Belleayre was open and so was the grill. I can’t remember that ever being open with food service. At 3,325ft it must be the highest “restaurant” in the Cats. Could it be the highest in NY?

What about the hunter summit lodge. The bunker

The trail map at Gore reports Bear mountain is 3200 ft and their Saddle Lodge is below that.
Only ever had their PBR soup there though, they too have a grill. It’s usually always open when the skiing is open.

Awesome. The burgers and beer are good there (polish bear starts with a T in Liter bottles!).

3-7 years ago it was open fairly regularly once most of the mountain was open. I think the new manager runs it less as he is more bottom line focused (not a criticism an employee told me they bring everything in by snowmobile so that can't be too easy with manpower shortage and wage pressure).

Yup that restaurant (Seasons) is still open. I've been once...food was good (I think I had a burger and fries).
