My buddy with a metal roof put a line of stone on the ground under the where the water comes off the roof. Works fine and the water drains through the stones. You could put perforated pipe under that if it puddles to drain it off away from the house.Anyone... what do I do able rain dripping of the roof that splashes on the house?
I googles something called a drip path?
That's a drip path. What did he use for stone?
GotchaIt there were gutters this year, they'd be on the ground.
I suffered some roof damage on the lower roof. Need to add snow stoppers (what are they called?) to the upper roof.
Are they fairly foolproof? Like they always prevent a big slide?snow guards
I'm honestly not sure as I don't have a metal roof. Friends of mine do and they swear by them, so my gut tells me yes.Are they fairly foolproof? Like they always prevent a big slide?
How do I figure out the likelyhood of total snowfall exceeding the roof's capacity for weight?
He used a 1/2" decorative gravel. But you can use anything around that size that you like the looks of.That's a drip path. What did he use for stone?
