Building a House with Wood

I would get the power rake.

I definitely want to get seed down to take advantage of the spring. I'm glad you think it's a good, or not a bad, idea.

Honestly I was thinking of the Dingo just to move the material, am I crazy to plan to spread it with a regular rake?
If you’re only doing 3-4 k sqft maybe think about sod?

If the rain returns with a vengeance before you have a decent amount of grass it could get ugly depending on the grade around your house.

I have a pretty good grade and when I planted grass seed I did it in stages. I left rows of rocks in place to keep the soil from washing away. In spring I removed the rows and planted those areas.

I've got 3 loads of top soil and 4 loads of sand and one load of driveway stone.

If I had to guess, I'd say the area to be covered is 3-4000 square feet.

Areas to cover:
If yer areas to cover aren’t uphill of yer piles whatabout the old fashioned wheelbarrow with a shovel & a rake way?
Tis good exercise before ski & snow shoveling season. Just pace yourself.

Ya might wanna tarp the dirt piles while they're dry so they aren’t as heavy to boot.

IMO grass is the easiest damn thing to grow. They key is to find seed that is native to your area. Throw it out there, cover with straw, then leave it. You could water it in, but other than that just watch it grow. I think it's a great time of year, too. All the nitrogen from the snow will really make it pop come spring.
My only advice.....don't over think it.

I realize a load is somewhat vague, I'm not sure of the size of the truck.

I'll take a pic and post it.

Edit to add pics, not sure if it helps:

Looks to me like 3-4 days of work.
I know I can move a 10 wheeler load of crusher run in 5 ish hours with my little FEL. I'm guessing this dingo would be the equivalent.
It would take an experienced operator, with the proper equipment, 1 day.....LoL

All uphill.

Don't really own that much tarp. I think I'll just wait it out.

I have to say thank you to all.

I am extremely grateful for your expert guidance.

I'm with ya Harv
I'll be moving material this weekend

Edit to add. This is a 10 wheeler load. I'll time it to give you a better idea. Previously I was going from memory. This will be more accurate.

That familiar pile looks like a Party that I would rather not attend.;)

My parents had a steep gravel driveway that needed to be replenished periodically (it seemed like too often to me) with airport mix that looked about the size of your pile. I was the wheelbarrow, shovel, and rake guy. So much fun.
