Twas a fun game to watch
I was VERY impressed with Girard vs his other seasons with Cuse. He had confidence and it certainly showed. Hopefully he continues throughout the rest of the season with the same poise.
Cuse has more scorers this year than in previous years, and with that zone D I'm hopeful we're in for a treat this year.

Girard looks to be in better shape this year too.
The frosh Williams is gonna be a big help too.
If the center position can be effective agains the bigs on better teams Cuse should do really well.

Colgate scored triple digits against the Boeheim gang and won handily Saturday afternoon in the dome.
Cuse lost by 15 after being ahead 17-2.
Joe Girard led The Orange but Cuse was out rebounded, out-shot and out-hustled.
First time Colgate beat The Orange in hoops since 1962 & JFK was president.
Next game's are Bahamanian.

Pardon the rant : JB is a great recruiter but Imho sometimes a weak tactical coach. Frankly he is and has been very slow to analyze and adjust game circumstances.

I grew up playing the 2-3 zone in grade school thru college. When I coached in college it was our preferred defense BUT c'mon man.

I am certainly no hoops guru and will not argue that JB isn't a successful guy ,but Hell SOMETIMES you need to adjust when your opponent is killing the 2/3 in any number of ways ,then shift and get in their face with an aggro M2M

JB lives and dies with the 2/3 and against The Gate they WERE humiliated because of this .
Time for a new approach
