Buddy B. Draining-em Boeheim

Sloppy game by both teams, normally we can pull those games out. Houston did a really good job D-ing up on Buddy. With that being said the rest of our offense seemed rattled. We go as Buddy goes. Our D was incredible. We had them deep into foul trouble but couldn't capitalize on that offensively. We needed someone to turn it on offensively to open up Buddy, no one could step up. Had that of happened we would've smoked em. Granted I haven't watched Houston play at all this year but they didn't impress me much at all.
Great year by the Orange.
GO CUSE!!

Final analysis : a stronger year than expected , ran on inspiration, impressive D and streak shooting in the tourney . It was inevitable that SOME coach was going to be smart enough to either put up a Box and One or put somebody in BB's shorts which is exactly what The Round Mound of Rebound ( Sir Charles) said before the game .

Buddy got ZERO " good looks" and the guys were throwing up bricks ,but i do think the D was strong Houston didn't really "light em up " either .

Good season , now regroup and recruit.
, Dolozai WILL be missed , great passer ,rebounder , great hustle off the ball , "smart " no make that very smart defender that "draws O charges " .. That IS a skill and he can score double figures .. I agree with Jimmy B he IS an MVP and will be hard to replace kid made stuff happen off the ball.

BB will only learn from the Houston game. The other strategic question : Will JB and BB leave together when the time comes for either NBA draft or graduation ? THoughts ????

The ZAGS look awesome , they light em up pretty good , great offensive movement off the ball creates beaucoup points in the paint with some STRONG finishes .i like their chances

I read a recent article where coach said he has no plans to retire anytime soon. He said as long as I feel I can win he will coach, being they he just made it to the sweet 16 I'd say he's renewed in feeling he can win.

Buddy will stay four years at Cuse, or at least I hope he does. He's on track to be the all time leading scorer for the Orange overtaking Poetry in Moten (my personal all time favorite player). I feel that someone will pick him up in the draft, he reminds me of a JJ Redick. Now, if he can improve his finishing with the ball skills his stock will rise. Not sure he'll ever get physically strong enough to make that happen. Regardless it will be fun to watch his career at Cuse.

For sure

They're a big and strong team, and as you say know how to finish

Yeah it would be fun to watch the Zags and Michigan in the final , not certain if the brackets allow that match up but would be a helluva game . I like watching Smitty that little self reported 5'11" guard on Michigan . I swear that kid is only 5'7 " with 4 " of hair ?. He's a pretty bright kid transfer in from IVY LEAGUE Columbia where he averaged almost 23 pts a game . He's a grad student at UM

I think you're RIGHT Big Guy , BB will most likely stay put . JB Will prolly die with his boots on ?, not sure if the guy has hobbies or interests outside the game and hey it keeps ya young at heart .

Stevie Thompson’s sons both fine students and both played for the old man as Beavers. If we can get big Jimmy transferred from Cornell Cuse could have nice things too. https://pamplinmedia.com/pt/12-sports/420422-321647-thompsons-family-time-comes-on-the-court
