Buddy B. Draining-em Boeheim

Firstly, I'm a big coach B fan. He's a true living legend. That said, I wish he would've retired last year when both his sons were on the team. His ship has sailed, it's time to pass the torch coach.
Absolutely agree ,time for systemic change in that program

What I don't care for is his attitude, now, during postgame. He used to be entertaining as hell. He used to be very positive with his comments. Now it's all, we didn't play good, xxx had a bad game, our defense was lousy, etc etc. No, coach. YOU didn't have them ready to play. I'm afraid that the heartbeat of Cuse hoops has turned into a grumpy old coach. Makes me sad, but that's how he's making me feel.

When Ole Miss beat Cuse in what used to be Carrier Dome in the NIT tournament I wore both an SU Orange & Ole Miss Rebels red sweatshirt. It was the first time ever for a major intercollegiate sporting event between the 2 skools.
Mike Hopkins walked off to coach the Washington Huskies the next day.

Asked folks, "What do ya get when Ole Miss beats Syracuse in basketball when it’s the the first time ever playing an intercollegiate sporting event between the 2 skools?"
It’s like when Punxy Phil saw his shadow on Groundhog Day,... six more years Boeheim.

We’re almost there.

We need some more March madness goodness.
Yep Camper IMHO it has passed him by and frankly he doesn't realize it.

He needs to TOTALLY***step aside and make a new life for his remaining years.

***Meaning avoid going anywhere near SU.Wise leaders in ANY organization don't hang around and become an Albatross.

Give the new guy space

The 3 pointer kills a zone and Jimmy, the Hall of Fame Basketball coach, hasn’t changed the D since it was implemented.
At least they used to run a zone trap occasionally and only went to a full court press when warranted.
He had Buddy and Jimmy Jr. as a liaisons - translators. to help with communication and explaining things to the team, the last few years..
I’d rather see Julie coach the team at this point.

It’s sad the Cuse can’t play any better defense.
When SU's student writers predict Cuse to lose on Senior Night when the 2003 championship players are in the house it kinda stays something.
Game's at 5 and should make for some good theater.

It’s sad the Cuse can’t play any better defense.
The Cuse holds the Demon Deacons to their second lowest score all year and wins decisively on Senior Night when they honor the 2003 Champs and hang a couple new uniforms in The Dome.
Most effort on the boards, loose balls and D all year.
Do you believe in miracles?
