Bentonville

Get to Brianhead for the shuttles. You’ll love em.

Between St. George and Parowan there’s everything you want.
I heard about that
I rode the mesas out side of Zion
Real cool too

I've had the fortune of riding the Sea to Sky, Whistler, much of central Colorado, AZ, southern Oregon, and Santa Cruz. BC and Santa Cruz are very much so worth the travel. I do need to make it out to Virgin and St. George but other than that there is no where else in the country beckoning me for a riding trip.

Jersey is a sleeper spot and I like it that way, the less people on the trails the better in my opinion and the terrain makes riding pretty much everywhere but BC seem like a cake walk.
I haven’t ridden anywhere but feel the same about peeyay. RAZ those pics and trails look cool but my favorite trails are still the 25 year old backcountry’ish enduro tracks up in coal country

They grow rocks in PA, Glen Park, Reading and Lehigh Campus trails are all rad. PA MTB also has more vertical drop than Jerz, very jealous about that bit.

@raisingarizona, I'll one up my claim :devilish:, BC was the last place I've been legitimately scared and challenged on the bike. I think I would feel the same in south west Utah, for me its those experiences that make the travel worth it. Bville seems like Disneyland for mountain bikes, which is cool and all but all that investment could have been so much better spent south of Fayetteville where there is some actual vertical and backcountry. Did you make it down that way at all?

No, we didn’t have time to really explore unfortunately. We drove through there and it looks really nice. I’d like to get back there but that probably won’t happen anytime soon.

Every mountain biker should go to BC. Whistler is amazing of course but a trip to the region without sampling Pemberton, Squamish and some North Shore rides as well is tragic imho. Fromme itself is a destination and oozes of cool history of when ladder bridges and dank forests were filling magazine pages and vhs videos. It’s another must hit spot for trail building geeks like me that’s littered with ghosts built by legends and one can still run into the Digger doing his thing.

I’m new to the sport, so I have very little to compare the region to, but I feel very lucky to live in BC. It blows my mind how much riding there is in close proximity to Van and the metro area. There’s at least 4 trail networks less than 10 minutes from where I live—all of which I can ride my bike to.

The videos below are from Burke Mountain (not to be confused with VT) which is just down the street from me. This local rider makes it look so easy:
