Belleayre Conditions

Nice snow and some wind today similar to yesterday. Good coverage for this time of year.

Conditions are excellent at the top, about an inch on top of packed powder what was groomed last night. Some trails ungroomed and moguls. Snow covering everything although maybe not quite 8" reported. Bottom by lightning a bit crusty and not near as nice. Best conditions I personally have skied this year

Well I take back my doubt of the reported snowfall accuracy. Did Cathedral brook and there is enough to be solidly skiable. Between the downed trees, fresh snow, and fresh wax, a bit of a struggle to get to the top but worth it.

Groomed runs skiing very nice, some of the bump runs are pretty icy underneath but others were a lot of fun. Gondola was fired up and opened around 2

Cathedral yesterday. Lapped it 3+ times yesterday afternoon once everything else was skied out. My last time patrol yelled at me saying there was a massive pile of rocks at the bottom lol and that it was too dangerous.

Anyone thinking Belle for this Sunday?

Seriously considering Sunday - would be ending my Skison where I started it on the last weekend of November - in each case skiing off pass before/after the Hunter Skison

Any basis for comment I read on Facebook speculating about $25 tix for pass holders of other mountains?
