Here are my last two picks. I'm proud of them both, but that mouse trap is bangin' to me

I’m not but I did grab some 90s era K2s at a garage sale last year. Still need to build up the courage to mount the bindings myself

I picked up this light on my way home from the grocery store one night last week. I thought I would likely have to replace the switch. Stuck it in the garage and put a light bulb in and it works fine. Not a scratch on it. It's in my living room now.
A friend of mine made over $700 on labor day weekend having a yard sale where 90% of the stuff he sold was picked.

That's great. I'm a firm believer in one man's junk is another man's treasure.
I was born into it. While driving around with my dad on garbage day he would stop and grab stuff he liked all the time. Pretty sure my mom didn't like it at all.

Its All Good . Merican Pickers gonna pay u boyz a visit , just sayin ' ?

We always put " stuff" by the curb and its usually gone within an hr , peeps, pick uo some of the damnest stuff but hey whatever floats your boat

Turns out the skis I picked are somewhat of a mystery. They have "Champion Luster" in the middle, "hand made" on the tails, and "lucky clover" on the very tip. On the sides of the skis they have 2 numbers on them, 36 and 3660. I reached out to woodenskis.com, all they said is they couldn't help me and they definitely aren't a main stream brand. He also said that downhill skis are from the 50's to early 60's. They're going on a wall somewhere so I was just trying to find out any info on them I could.

Other than my nose, I'm not the biggest picker. If I see something really cool (skiing related) I'll pick it. The other week, after that big wind storm, a tree fell on this guy's yard along my road bike route. He cut it up into very nice rounds (and the wood looked great) and they were stacked toward the bottom of his yard pretty close to the street. Then you see this sheet of plywood placed on and top and in front of the wood with red spray paint that says:
"No, you cannot have this wood"

It was pretty funny.

LOL

While reading I thought for sure you were going to say it said, "free". I would've stopped and grabbed the sheet of plywood ;)

I think I'm starting to get it. Can someone define picker? ?
