I've met Tim Burke and interviewed him for FasterSkier. A real nice guy. Tried summer biathlon (running and shooting) once. Thank god they didn't have a penalty loop, would have owned it.

Watching the current downhill Olympics course made me think of the stadium golf course in the desert.
Just no waste management signs and/or folks sittin on the hills with beers, yet.
