Gore Mountain Conditions

In Gore's defense they have lowered their advertised season average to 120 inches. Most legit marketing claim for annual average snowfall in the east I believe.
120 is a pretty fair number especially if you look at October to April

Comparing Apples to Oranges...
If you were to guestimate what would you say is the amount of man-made snow added to the natural snow? Take for example Sunway Trail just below Sunway Chair... Maybe another 24 inches over the course of the year? More? Less?

I do. Actually all 12 months.

On the other side, one thing Gore has started to do is take the summit number as the total for the day. they never did that in the past.

What does whiteface do?

If lion’s share of that moisture comes through before noon tomorrow, I can’t see there being very much left to do any serious damage before temps dip again.

Then we have the stronger weekend system + some nasty wind on the back end, which should keep the holiday crowds indoors Monday and Tuesday lol.

We will persevere.

Gore was quite good today. Cold firm cord at open, and some banged out bumps in the trees.

Skied with @Armon and Gail for the first time this season!
